Spycker
Spycker (Michiel Omtzigt) is an experimental musician and producer based in Amsterdam, active since 2008. With releases on various netlabels including Petroglyph, Enough Records, and Aatma, Spycker has steadily built a diverse body of work that defies easy categorization. His music moves freely between genres and atmospheres—ranging from dreamy soundscapes and textured guitar layers to raw electronics and heavy beats.
Textural, atmospheric, and cinematic are just a few words that capture the essence of Spycker’s sound. As a true generalist, he embraces versatility as his central theme. From soft-strummed ballads and foredoomed guitar drones to hard-hitting dubstep and ambient explorations, Spycker’s sonic universe spans a wide spectrum of styles and moods.
